About this trip

Calling all Sloan adventurers! Have you been browsing the pre-fx trip list and thinking to yourself: “Huh, cute trip, but I’m looking for something a bit more intense?” Well, you’ve landed on the right page. Welcome to the White Mountains: a true bucket-list National Forest for any adventurous Sloanie. Over two days we will hike ~15 miles, gain ~5,000 feet of elevation, and see some amazing views. We are planning to hit Mt. Kearsarge and Mt. Moosilauke on our hiking days.

While you’re making best friends for life via 2 days of hiking, you’ll have the opportunity to bunk with your new friends in a much chiller environment at our summer camp AirBnb (no really, this place used to be an actual summer camp!, https://bluewaterfarm.net/about-us/bluewater-lodge-6385941) with lawn games and some friendly beer (and alternative option) Olympics

Your trip leaders are stoked. Despite growing up in sunny California, Tracy can’t wait to convince you East Coast winter beats summer any day. Kevin’s the kind of guy who can hike 20 miles, then show up to the party and make everyone wonder if he secretly chugs Red Bull through his CamelBak (plot twist — he does). Jenn will convince you to unleash your inner hippie and pick up an oat milk matcha on your way home from trail running. Rory fenced in college but he's never on the fence about having a good time
